Museum Memberships

Dear Friends,

Many of you have expressed a desire to play a part in the Bigfoot Discovery Project's search for answers to the mystery of unknown primates around the world. This is your opportunity to do just that. We are now offering annual memberships to the Bigfoot Discovery Museum.

Your membership will entitle you to the following:

  • Membership card
  • 15% discount on all items sold in the museum
  • Subscription to the museum newsletter
  • A standing invitation to all the museum regular monthly meetings
  • Access to our audio-video library and take-out privileges from our book library
  • Preferred status for invitation to all museum special events
  • The opportunity to play a part in the efforts of the Discovery Project

Our museum seeks to facilitate the study of unsolved mysteries of science, with a particular emphasis on Bigfoot. We are currently working up projects and events that members will be able to participate in. We'll be doing field work in the Santa Cruz Mountains, seeking physical evidence of bigfoot in the local area. A number of our members are also in the BFRO and other bigfoot study groups and take part in expeditions out of the area as well.

We are planning workshops and classes in wildlife art, tracking, evidence gathering and so forth. We also sponsor events featuring guest speakers on pertinent subjects. Last year's Bigfoot Discovery Day featured Jeff Meldrum, Idaho State professor of Anthropology and Anatomy, who is often seen on the Discovery and History Channels. He signed copies of his book, Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science at a BBQ held at the museum, and gave a slide presentation and talk in nearby Santa Cruz.

Our program of memberships will help to keep the museum viable and help fund the many museum projects, such as those mentioned above. Since we opened our doors in July, 2004, over four dozen local people have shared their bigfoot encounters with us. Dozens more have expressed their appreciation to us for starting the Discovery Project and bringing this subject into public view, and we want to thank you all for the "moral support" ...the positive feedback we need to keep us on track.
